When Maggie and I met Rachel we knew there was something about her that was special. She is also a photographer and friend, but what we found that was special, was her love, and passion for her husband John, and their son Rowan.

So as I said in other posts it is my mission this year to get couples back together and re-ignite their relationship, (especially post marriage and children). Rekindle the reason they got together, decided to spend the rest of their lives together, and create a family. Then most importantly create heirloom images that they can share with their family and friends. Photographs that show who they are as a couple right now.

Rachel & John took this session to the next level for us, and them. They brought their A-game and all they needed was each other. It was a cold snow day but they warmed the air with the most loving stares and giggles.

Rachel wrote her very first love letter to John and he created a beautiful poem for her. How amazing is it to share these firsts with your true love.

Then there were snuggles.

That simple stare that turns to laughter with no words needed.

And we ended with the inevitable spontaneous snowball fight.

I’m pretty sure Rachel won this round 😉

Rachel & John thank you so much for letting us into your lives. We know live can get busy, but keep making time for each other. You are an amazing couple, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you 🙂
