Joe & Christa | Snow Day Session

As we continue on our mission of rekindling love. Joe and Christa popped onto our radar for a snow day session. Joe, Maggie, and I used to work in EMS together.  We knew the EMS/ Fire Department Joe but not Christa. When they wrote us about being a part of the movement we were excited to learn all about their relationship.  Then a few weeks back we got together with excitement and emotion to learn that they have an awesome family, with two great boys, and plenty of photos of them as a family… (They have a great wall collage of photos of the boys and the family)… but they have not had any photos of just the two of them since their wedding day over a decade ago.

Mission accepted!!! We set a date for a shoot. We want their amazing children to remember who their parents are here now and today for the awesome people they are. We also had a bit of a bonus as it was snowing during out shoot and both Joe and Christa have a love for the outdoors. I mean we would have preferred it was 70 and sunny but hey it’s New England 😉

Our session started with a cruise through the snowy back roads of Watertown in Joe’s Jeep. They had the perfect place in mind and immediately went back to those feelings of why they fell in love in the first place.

Fun and laughter quickly turned to snuggles, maybe because they like each other or maybe because it was like 4 degrees 😉

Then snuggles turned to kisses. Kisses in the rain… I mean… Snow…. It’s kind of like notebook style right? Let me throw in a quick story about Maggie and I while we are here and talking about the Notebook lol. We tried slow kisses in the rain except please proceed that when it’s a downpour there is a possibility of drowning vs. being a romantic moment so snow or a slight drizzle is the ingredient for notebook-style kisses 😉

After the session these two invited us back to their home and cooked us their favorite family recipe of pot roast. Let me tell you that Joe has been raving about Christa’s cooking since I have known him so I knew we were in for a treat. We totally enjoyed some of their quality family time in their home and we could not have been happier. We LOVE to know that there are plenty of loving families out there like ours and that we have became parts of while doing what we love to do. Joe & Christa we had sooooo much fun with you guys, no one got pneumonia,  frostbite, and we have heirloom images that you can share with your family and friends for an eternity showing how truly awesome you guys are as a couple 😉
