In every wedding the point comes where the priest, minister, justice of the peace or rabbi asks, “may I please have the rings” and starts his speech about the rings being a circle. At every wedding we can’t help chuckle as our minds flash back to the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. One because the movie is hilarious and two who can resist smiling at a bad accent. For those of you haven’t seen the movie you have to at least watch this scene.

The minister says,”Now the rings are a symbol of eternity, because in a ring there’s no beginning, there is no end, ’cause it’s a circle… It’s not like a triangle. Triangle has, like, a corner in the ends. This one is a circle… It’s a promise of you love forever together…for all eternity because it’s a circle.” As wedding photographers we love that there’s no beginning, and there is no end to a ring.
