“Where should we do our engagement session?” We get this question a lot, and one of our biggest engagement session tips when choosing a location is…. Choose somewhere with meaning. It is important to pick somewhere that will rekindle emotions, spark feelings of joy, and create laughter.

Sit down and think of places you go to together and enjoy. I don’t care if its Target, Maggie and I often have fun adventures there. Come on endless supplies of props to be silly with…..need I say more. Seriously though it should be somewhere you love.

Here are some thoughts to get your wheels turning-

1. The place you first met, where you had your first date, or where your partner popped the question.

2. What are you passionate about together? Hiking, camping, drinking wine? We love hearing what you do together as a couple, that you BOTH love to do.

3. If you had to be spontaneous and pick somewhere to go right now, where would it be?  We are always up for adventure so write it down now, or when you get back 😉

Remember your engagement session is about you as a couple. Our goal is to create photographs that you can show your friends and family, and 50 years from now have them still say, WOW I can totally see “YOU” in these images. Celebrate your life together and make it fun. Spark up the fire pit, crack a bottle of wine, hug, kiss, then pick a few spots. We will help you with the rest!
