Whenever I see another man look at his significant other in a way that shows how much he loves them, I can envision the way I look at Maggie, especially when she’s not looking. She is the most amazing this that has ever happened to me and to be able to witness this in others is awesome! Something about that look, that stare, just makes me wild about life. It makes every second worth living to the fullest extent. There is no scientific reasoning why love exists, but you can see it plain as day, not puppy love, or lust, but REAL LOVE. To me this is true Magic.

Maggie and I were excited to spend the afternoon with Erica and Greg. Even though this wasn’t a real wedding, it should of been. You see Greg had the look toward Erica, and what was even better, she had the look back 😉

These two volunteered to be our “models” for a Photography Session we planned for about 15 other photographers. We pride ourselves in always educating ourselves and bettering our craft. I learned a saying years ago that went something like “if your not climbing, your standing still, and if your standing still, your going nowhere”. So with that in mind we love to build community and have a place where we can all learn from each other. Check out the behind the scenes post here.

Maggie and I decided to rent a suite at the Omni in New Haven and invite anyone that was interested in meeting new friends and learning new things. We also contacted a few friends that happen to also be wedding vendors. Then set a date.

The day started with beautiful sky’s and Candee Caldwell doing makeup.

Then This dude, he’s straight up GQ and doesn’t even know it.

Then I mean the real way to get a party started and to get the blood pumping is to jump on the bed, right?

Plus the dress from The Wedding Embassy was pretty Sweet.

After some spontaneous fun at the Omni, we decided to hit the streets of New Haven. If you don’t live under a rock then you would know this little spot next to Zinc Restaurant.

After Zinc we hit the wall next to the Shake Shack.

They are so cute they don’t even need words to communicate. They just look at each other and giggle 🙂

Of course next came Yale.

Check out those smiles, and that was even with 15 or so photographers and their cameras in their faces. True emotions. Never mind that it was like 15 degrees too.

There was even a group of girls who were not shy at all and jumped in to be the bridal party.

All in all everyone had a great time, created some great images, new friendships, and life long memories. Now get out there and share your loving stare with your loved one 😉 I know who I’m looking at tonight!!
