What do Hot Cocoa, folding chairs, and a frozen lake have in common? Fun that’s what, and COLD 😉 Yesterday we got the opportunity to hang out with our great friends and brave the cold. We went down to a little spot in Maggie’s old stomping ground. As she reminisced about learning to swim, playing ice hockey, and all the fun family adventures she had been on there, we decided that we needed to have a little lake session here. The chairs came out of the truck along with a plethora of hand warmers, hot cocoa, and a blanket.

Then the stories started that not only warmed the mood, but warmed our hearts. Learning how these two met at a wedding, as Eric offered a helping hand to some wedding tasks Katie had on hand. High five for being a gentleman 😉

Then it was time to get out on the ice. If little kids were out there playing hockey. Its safe for us right?

After some sliding practice, they nailed it.

So go do something spontaneous today and enjoy life. Test the ice then get to sliding 😉
