Sara & Eric have one of those stories of how they met that sounds like it should be made into a movie script 😉 So they officially met at a Christmas party about 8 years ago. Although they have read into each other many times before this. You see Eric was attending CCSU and Sara just graduated from Cosmology school, well a bunch of her friends actually attended CCSU as well. When she would go to visit them it just so happened that Eric was at some of those fun events and they always caught a glance of the other from across the room or in passing by, but the day after Valentines day Eric decided to make the leap of faith and ask Sara on her last first date.

Then a few years later Sara & Eric were headed to grandma’s for Christmas Eve and Eric was actually the one making them late, but it was for a good reason. As most of us guys know the planning and events leading up to getting the courage to ask our soul mate to spend the rest of their lives with us can be a bit nerve racking. I know for me, even though Maggie and I lived together and she knew the ring was coming it was still a moment where you forget everything, start freaking out at every detail, and eventually blackout when you actually ask and it just became a blur hahaha. So the real reason he was dragging his feet was because he had a little surprise for her. He gave her the “gift” (which was jewelry cleaner) in a bag. She mistakenly thought it was a bottle of lotion and didn’t put it together until she looked over and Eric was on one knee asking the biggest question of his life. Then of course they both burst into tears of joy. After that they finally made the trip to grandmas and spent the rest of the night celebrating with family.

Fast forward to today and we got to celebrate with them at Gouveia Vineyard in Wallingford for their forever session.

I mean seriously you can just see the connection in their eyes, they say they look at each other, and that laughter. Love It!

Fun fact, this “blanket” was actually a scarf. How freaking cool is that?
