Oh snap you’re engaged…. So Now What??

Congratulations on your engagement. What a amazing day right? Now all that time you spent planning your wedding while growing up has become a reality. Well not really…. now its about the both of you planning that epic adventure TOGETHER 😉 So we want to throw up some solid advice from other couple as well as us to how to start putting some of the details together.

1. CELEBRATE-  Spread the news. You are an engaged couple!!! How awesome is that? Get your friends and family together to party. Live it up you deserve it.  Feel free to post your Instagram photos in the comments too 😉

2. MARRIAGE- A huge part of this process is to remember that you are planning a marriage, not just a wedding. Celebrate the reasons why you are getting married and work with each other.

3. DREAM, are you thinking of a huge wedding with ball gowns, black tuxes, purple uplighting against rich white walls, a 7 tier cake and a rolls royce get away? A full outdoor wedding saying “I do” under the canopy of green trees, having the warm breeze whoosh past your face while tearing up the dance floor, and finishing the night roasting up some s’mores over a open fire? I encourage you to dream and dream together about your perfect day.

4. BE PLAYFUL- March to the beat of your own drum. You should be making epic plans of your dream wedding celebration for “YOU” as a couple. Plan the day you guys want, not what you think you should do. It is impossible to make everyone happy, but if you are happy then everyone else will follow suit.

5. BE INTIMATE- Plan date nights with just you and your fiancé, take a night off from talking wedding details and rekindle the reasons you got engaged in the first place. I won’t lie sometimes wedding planning gets stressful, especially with hearing the chatter of the outside world. So we believe in date nights, now and forever, where its just you, your love, and the dreams and ambitions you have to take over the world. Maybe chocolate fondue too 😉
