Who wants to road trip to Newport, RI?? That is exactly how our conversation started with our friends Katie and Eric about their Newport Engagement session. After thinking for a nano second we decided why the hell not. I fired up the old interweb and jumped on hotwire.com (insert jingle here) and booked our rooms! Saturday evening we all piled in Betty (our white F-150) and set forth on our epic journey.

Oh you want a little background on these kids? They met back in 2010 where they both attended a wedding, Eric was a groomsmen and Katie was there helping set things up. The rest is history.

So our amazing gamble on hotwire.com ended us up at the Ramada Inn in Middletown RI and THIS is what we woke up to get our day rolling with. The most awesome beds to jump on EVER!!! So why not start there??

We walked the Cliff walk for a bit, then ended up at The Breakers, but they didn’t want us brining in all of our gear so we just got some amazing images right outside 😉 Look at these two… They are true New Englanders with style!!!

We then ventured downtown.

Whats a trip to Newport with out hitting up the marina?

Bling Bling y’all.

After a hard day of walking around and shooting like pro models we had to stop in to The Wharf Pub, and it was delectable!!!  I would go back in a heartbeat.

It was such a fun trip of trying new things filled lots of laughs, like my belly and cheeks are still sore. It is always a great reminder that sometimes you need to just have a spontaneous trip and remember why this life we live is so awesome!!

Just some reassurance that we have no fun 😉
